Hey my friends, we r starting a movement called the irish aaron tassie project. Basically what we r doing is being followed by an independent film crew and they are gonna show a yr in the life of a Mixed Martial Artist making the move from karate and submission grappling and the beautiful sport of BJJ, going back to fulltime MMA training and fighting in all the shows we can , local and regional, and wherever we can fight. We have been invited to a few camps to train and hopefully with their blessing they will allow us to improve my skills and get some of the best training in the country. We are hoping to use the publicity to raise awareness for anti bullying and child abuse, and hopefully it will catch on and the awareness will grow. There isnt any money involved at all nobody asking for donations or sweating ppl to give or any of that, its just a straight up movement for awareness and hoping that the publicity will do just that. so please help by joining the movement and hashtag #theirishaarontassieproject so we can get as much publicity and exposure as we can. Hopefully we will be able to do some free seminars and MMA demos and show kids and young adults the amazing world of MMA and how it can be such a positive influence in their lives teaching them discipline and confidence and the chance to meet some really amazing sporstmen and women. So if your down PLEASE help out by just hashtagin and checking in at oneilmma.com and theirishaarontassieproject.com, or theirishaarontassieproject@gmail.com Just help spread the word, and we will do the work and with all your help we can make a difference in some lives and use the blessings and gifts we have to help brighten the lives of kids and young adults less fortunate than us. Remember, this is just a no profit no money movement and we just want your help promoting and getting the word out, so PLEASE HASHTAG!!! AND JOIN THE MOVEMENT!!!

MMA JUDGING
After watching this past weekends fights, specifically, Sanchez vs Pearson I, as a completely devoted MMA fan, be it local, regional, or UFC, i cannot help but wonder what is the deal with the people who's only job is to pay attention to the fight, and score it appropriately. The scoring in that fight was an absolute joke. They may as well have been playing jewel crusher on their mobile phones than scoring an entertaining and actually pretty good fight. Having said that, Sanchez did NOT win that fight by any means possible. I myself have rewatched the fight several times as well as im sure some of you die hard fans have. And hey, some days our favorite wins and some day he loses, but the judging in that fight was as bad as the recent fiasco on The Ultimate Fighter when terrible scoring and reffing cost someone their chance at advancing in the tournament. We have all heard Dana White go on about "do u want to be a fuc$&g fighter? Finish fights, dont leave it in the judges hands" and yes that is the goal of everyone who steps in th ring or cage, and that is to finish their opponent in spectacular fashion, and have replay KO,S and Submissions, but not every fight will end that way even if the fighters leave it all in the cage, and we are treated to war between to closely matched men or women. So the question is, who is training these people to be judges, and how much training do they need before they make completely bone headed decisions? And its not just the fact that you may have lost a bet , or your fighter didnt win, the fighters suffer financially. Pearson put it best when he was quoted saying "they basically took half of my earnings tonight" I agree. Nothing is ever going to be perfect in any sport or competition, but someone has to hold the so called pro judges accountable for their actions and their training. Most of the time it goes smoothly and to the victor goes the spoils, but maybe its time to stop spending thousands of dollars on creating promotional shirts ans stickers and pics of half dressed ring girls, and TRAIN THE JUDGES WHO HOLD THE FATE OF THE FIGHTERS LIVELYHOOD IN THEIR HANDS. Hey most of you that read the stuff i bitch about and its just opinion and its whatever, but i think this is serious bullshit and the people in charge need to be held accountable, and train the so called "judges" Let me know what you think, good bad or whatever. Peace

BELLATOR ANYONE?
Look, im a MMA fanthrough and through. Ill watch fights anyplace i love everything about the sport. But honestly, the prelims on Spike were better than the PPV, and Ortiz running around yelling like a moron because of what he just did, which was basically him beating up on his younger brother. He was at least 20lbs heavier, and got a takedown and outweighed and out muscled Alexander layed on him and smushed him into a sub. The only thing that fight proved was that Tito is still his own biggest fan. im not denying that he is a pioneer and once great champion and competitor, but show me him fighting a legit lightheavy in the top 5 and see how he does and then ill believe hes the new and improved "PEOPLES CHAMP" until then he's just the same shit talker with tons of excuses for losses and explanations of his brilliance when he wins. The only thing worse was Page's complete lack of respect for his opponent, his team, the promotion and himself. What an asshole. i was litterally praying for the fight to be done. That dude should be fined and suspeded for what he did and all his antics. Yes he got the KO, but is without a doubt a fighter with no self respect and no humility what so ever, he put a HUGE black eye on himself and the promotion. Having God given talent doesnt give you the right to be a disrespectful prick. He was booed by everyone and should have his ass kicked out of Bellator until he can represent himself like a true pro. Ok, that what i think guys, let me know your opinions and feel fre to say whatever is on your mind, good or bad. Peace
